18A Create a Customer Avatar

Because the service I am providing is a workshop on how to budget money successfully, I believe a typical customer would be a college student aged 18-22. Although anyone of any age can take this workshop, I really feel as though the college age range is most suited for this service. For many people, college is the first time where people start becoming more independent: moving away from their parents and hometown, and starting to figure out what life is like as an adult. My customer has a job but also likes to eat food, and spends most of his money on that. He is also an avid video game player, and spends hours on end on his XBOX. He spends all of his paycheck on video games and food and has barely enough money leftover to pay for groceries and rent. He decides it becomes a problem after he realizes that his parents are sick of him asking for extra money to pay for things. 15A - Figuring Out Buying Behavior No. 2

UF Freshman - Parker Parker is a freshman who is self-proclaimed awful at trying to budget himself. There are apps that can help with budgeting, but he feels as though an app would not be able to help him with real-time problems that might come up. He also was worried about the price of purchasing the app. If there was to be a workshop/class, he'd rather it be in person but would purchase it online, or wherever it is most convenient. If he could correctly budget himself after purchasing and using my service, he believes it would have been a correct purchase. UF Sophomore - Devin Devin is a sophomore at UF who also needs a little bit of help budgeting. He has heard of other workshops that include help with budgeting, but they are not on campus. He also thinks doing it online would not be as effective as being there in person. As long as he can budget himself after the use of the service, he believes he would have made the right decision; if he couldn't budget himself...
